Rising from the ashes, a symbol of hope at the Rose Parade

Volunteers who survived the Palisades and Eatons Fire in early January, 2025, created a phoenix on the “Rising Together” float for the New Year’s Day Rose Parade. In addition to the phoenix, thirty-one sunflowers represent the thirty-one lives lost in the fire.
