“Human butterflies” are people who make a difference in the lives of other people. We know that a kind word or even a smile can affect us when we’re down. These posts document some of those events to remind us of the good in our troubled world.

Nightbirde on AGT
Accessed Facebook, May 19, 2026; accessed Wikipedia, May 19, 2026
This evening’s AGT showed the 20 Best AGT Golden Buzzers. They ended with Nightbirde’s inspiring appearance on June 8, 2021. Despite having cancer in her lungs, spine, and liver, she sang the song she herself wrote, “I’m okay.”
In her conversation with the judge, she explained her positive attitude, “You can’t wait until life isn’t hard anymore before you decide to be happy.”

Favorite Christmas Memory
It’s not Christmas time, but the message from Miss G holds all year long. In this case, a kindergartner was a butterfly.
Every now and then, during the holiday season, something will occur that will make that Christmas stand out from the others. For me, it was when my daughter, Jennifer, was in kindergarten.

WHY I SHARED THIS TESTIMONY
There may be someone who has just read my testimony who needs to be reminded that whatever the Lord has given your hands to do, just do it as unto the Lord. He would not have given you that work if He knew that you could not do it. Where is glory for GOD in your failure?

Forever Flowers
Shared by Miss G
The first man to give me flowers was my late father. We had just moved from the projects to a small house on the Southside of Chicago. The yard had a small garden, with two rose bushes planted in the middle. One was of a rich red color, while the other was yellow with pink-edged petals. Daddy assigned the care of the red ones to my older sister, Ruth. And, I had been given the honor of being in charge of the yellow ones. I was so happy. It would be one of the most beautiful gifts my father would ever give me.
